Lottery Success : Five Ways Your Life Would Change by Winning the Lotto

A rags to riches story is best summarized by growing up in a run down shack to somehow making it big and becoming Oprah. Well unfortunately, not all of us are African American women who strive to hit it big in the media. Perhaps you have basketball talent so maybe you play well in high school, earn a scholarship, get drafted into the NBA, and go all the way to the NBA finals. It's a nice dream to have, but it's highly unlikely. So what's the next option: sell your body on the streets (it's generally frowned upon and illegal for the most part) or maybe become a drug dealer (your fiance's in-laws probably won't approve). No the answer is winning the lottery.

Winning the lottery for some is the American Dream, it is the ultimate rags to riches story, the fantasy that tops all fantasies. What we don't realize is how different things would be if we actually hit the Mega Millions. Imagine winning over 200 million dollars, impossible maybe, but what if one day it happens and you win it, what does it mean exactly?

Well here are 5 ways your life may and most likely will change.

  1.  Bills, Bills, Bills

Are you thousands of dollars in debt, do you have dozens of unpaid parking tickets, what about your mortgage or car payments, your little fiasco at the local strip club, your boatload of crap that you bought from QVC, the Home Shopping Network or on eBay, and of course all those child support payments. Well no more worries, your problems are solved.

You could be over 100,000 dollars in debt but if you hit that 100 or 200 million dollar jackpot, it's chump change. So what if you have thousands of unpaid bills or tickets, just a million dollars should be enough to pull you out of debt, I hope. For the first time in your life you will never have to worry about those monthly unwanted bills but you still have to worry about your taxes unfortunately.

  1.  Recognition and Fame (at least on the local or regional level)

Chances are if you hit it big in your home town, everyone is going to know about it. It doesn't matter if it's a town of 100 people, 1,000 people, 100,000 people or even a million people, they will know about it. No longer can you shop at your local supermarket and not have people glancing at you and try to talk to you. (they will be very kind to you for obvious reasons). You are a local celebrity and who doesn't love a local celebrity.

People all over your town will know that you hit it big and that could be a good thing or a bad thing. Sometimes local celebrities or celebrities like Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers (your welcome tween girls), stars of High School Musical Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron,Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and even Lindsay Lohan (good luck with that one) will want to meet you so that's a big plus.

As far as the negatives go, your world will no longer be private. Think A list celebrity and you'll know what I'm talking about. They have people following them constantly, trying to talk to them, stalking them, trying to kiss them, or whatever else people like to do to celebrities.

So I suggest getting some extra protection because sometimes people can get violent.

  1.  No more Career or Job

Accountant, doctor, lawyer or pole dancer, no more. You won the lottery that was worth millions, why in the world would you want to go back to the office making a mere 50,000 to maybe 80,000 a year or much less. I know a lot of people love the idea of winning the lottery so they don't ever have to work again. I mean why should you.

However, on the negative side, believe it or not, people do enjoy going to work and having a career. They don't want to just stop something they love, but it's almost expected of society for them to quit their job or career. I suggest you keep doing what you love, however, maybe make it more of a hobby than a job. Still, chances are that people who win the lottery and still go to work will eventually just quit altogether due to society's pressures.

  1.  Who can you trust?

Someone once said that greed is good. In the world of capitalism, greed is very good but when people win millions, greed becomes a poison. Remember that nice elderly woman who lives next to you, your local postal carrier, your kid's babysitter, and your favorite parole officer (let's hope not), well they may not be so nice after all.

Money is the root of all evil and everybody wants to get their paws on it. If you have over a 100 million dollars, people will do anything to get a share of your profits. They will offer free samples,be extremely kind to you, try to be friends with you, and even become your personal servants.

Don't be fooled by the kindness and instead protect yourself. Find a great lawyer, a good bank, hire a body guard if you have to, anything to protect yourself. Don't buy into the offers, don't be so trusting, just be smart and you won't get hurt.

  1.  Enjoy the Fruits of Life

Why do people buy thousands of dollars worth of lottery tickets? Why do people fantasize about winning the lottery? Why am I asking all these questions? Because I can, and that's exactly what winning the lottery means. You can buy the luxuries of life, you can live your life with style, in a mansion, and not in some rundown shack.

The best thing about winning the lottery is that you can buy, buy, buy almost anything whether its a brand new Lamborghini, a 20 bedroom house with a full basketball court, a game room and an Olympic sized pool, or a 10 million dollar painting at an auction. How about travel? You could travel all over the world to any place you want such as London, Paris, New York City, Turkey, Israel or even Pensacola, Florida. Basically, anything your heart desires you can get.

A little hint though, gaining pounds may be a lot easier than losing them but losing money is a lot easier than gaining money if you don't play your cards right. We've seen people worth millions lose it all by constantly buying and not thinking. I suggest making some smart investments so that way your money will continue to grow even as you spend.

Don't worry though, unless your insane, the chances of you blowing off 100 or 200 million dollars is pretty slim. You don't need to be too cautious, rather have some fun and enjoy your new life. After all, you have fulfilled the American Dream of winning the lottery so have fun and finally take time to enjoy life.
